Happy Nurse Practitioner's Week!

Hello Fellow Nurse Practitioners! On behalf of SIG30, AANP and, your AANP Colorado State Liaison (Connie McMenamin), Happy Nurse Practitioner week! Thank you for your service and commitment to our profession and the patients that we serve. We have been honored by Governor Jared Polis proclaiming November 12-18, 2023 as Nurse Practitioner week. Also, please check out on AANP site, Dr. Loretta Ford who was honored at a Veteran's Day celebration at Arlington Cemetery for her military service. As you may know, Dr. Ford, along with Dr. Henry Silver founded the NP program at the University of Colorado in 1965. Dr. Ford will be celebrating her 103rd birthday in December. Seeing Dr. Ford honored for her military service as well as her long standing commitment to the NP profession is incredible and we will forever be grateful for her leadership.
