CNA Membership Assembly and updates

Important update from Colorado Nurses Association:
We are 16 days out from the 2nd Annual CNA Conference and Membership Assembly/Meeting. CNA is again partnering with the Colorado Student Nurses Association, and has a robust conference planned including presentation by many CNA content experts, both members and partners of our association work. ANA President Pamela Cipriano, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN will also be joining us on Saturday.
The CNA Annual Board of Directors voting service is now open and will continue to be open until 9 am Saturday, September 24, 2016. Pleaase vote prior to the annual meeting day!
How To Vote:
1 Ballot and candidate profiles: https://vote.associationvoting.com/coloradona/index.php?Mode=login
2 You'll be required to log in using your LAST NAME and ANA MEMBER ID # which can be found by logging on to "MyANA" http://www.nursingworld.org/ or you may contact CNA Offices at 303-597-0128.
4 Select your candidates and click "submit".

To combat the nation's opioid epidemic, 25 national nursing organizations have joined forces to offer a free online educational series that will serve as a resource for practicing nurses, faculty and students.
The following topics will be addressed:
September 22 at 2:00 PM (ET) – Understanding the CDC Guideline for Prescribing Opioids for Chronic Pain and Other National Strategies
October 6 at 2:00 PM (ET) – The Opioid Crisis: APRN Curricular Integration
October 20 at 2:00 PM (ET) – The National Opioid Crisis: Your Practice, Your Responsibility
