We are excited to announce this year’s Advanced Practice: Leading Healthcare into the Future Conference on Friday, September 27th. Registration will begin at 7:15 am, the formal sessions will take place from 8:00 am to 3:10 pm, followed by networking and cocktails.  We have reviewed your feedback regarding conference topics and have partnered with outstanding APPs from Denver Health, the VA, and Kaiser to bring you cutting edge CME and CNE

Course Description

This conference will provide a full day of content aimed at Advanced Practice Providers. Participants will be guided through activities to help them identify career goals and values, and then will be taught how clinical skills are transferrable to leadership opportunities. Participants will gain strategies for improving their skills as clinical preceptors. We will also introduce participants to technologies they or their patients may encounter in the clinical setting, including telehealth visits, e-consults, and virtual reality. Participants will learn how to provide more inclusive care to refugee patients. Lastly, participants will gain a better understanding of burnout and the available resources to prevent and treat burnout in healthcare providers.

Learning Outcome

Participants will identify and describe one way they can apply their clinical skills when working in a leadership role.

6.0 Continuing Nursing Education contact hours will be awarded

Requirements for successful completion of the educational activity:
